The Blessed River is neither particularly long nor powerful by the standards of the realm's great waterways, but it is nevertheless perhaps the most important river in the history of the Aulesiri Empire. This is for the simple reason that the Blessed River was the final destination of Luseysi and the migration of the Aulesiri, and that it waters, feeds, and connects the capital, the Pale City, to the rest of the empire.
Running west to east, the Blessed navigates a course from the Welshrine, meets its tributary, the Little Blessing from Yael Lake at Vemeer, passes Benefry, and finally empties into the sea at the site of the Pale City.
